In my experience as a trader, I pay extremely close attention to a broker’s regulatory status because it directly impacts trust and the safety of my funds. When it comes to Monex Europe, I have significant concerns. Monex Europe Limited was previously licensed by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK, one of the most reputable regulators in the forex industry. However, their FCA payment license has been revoked. As of now, Monex Europe operates without valid regulatory oversight. This means there is no official government or independent body supervising their operations, holding them accountable, or ensuring they maintain segregated accounts and adhere to strict client protection standards. A revoked regulatory license is a red flag for me. From my perspective, trading or transacting with an unregulated broker exposes me to unnecessary risks—such as limited recourse in disputes, lack of compensation schemes, and less regulatory clarity about how my funds are handled. No matter how comprehensive their product offerings or technology appear, the absence of active regulation makes Monex Europe unsuitable for my trading needs. I always advise extreme caution and recommend working only with brokers that are fully regulated by recognized authorities.
