WELTRADE's market delay wiped out my investment of 95 million rupiah. Last Wednesday, after the Federal Reserve meeting, the USD/IDR exchange rate showed 15.280, but when I placed an order, a message appeared saying 'Price updated to 15.350'—a 70-pip difference, resulting in a loss of 4.2 million rupiah! The Weltrade company had increased the spread for Gold, almost 1600 % from what it usually was and my account could not withstand. Moreover, Systemgates Ltd aka Weltrade is changing its registration every single year, from one offshore country to another. In 2016 it was Vanuatu, in 2017 it was Belize and in 2018 it is Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. I found out that Systemgates Ltd has no licence whatsoever to engage in forex trading since the Financial Services Authority does not issue a licence to a company engaging in forex. I have lost 56 000 USD and trying to get them back . The company refused to return the money after I lodged my complaint with it more than 10 times.

As a Malaysian trader, I'm extremely angry about WELTRADE's exploitative spread practices against Southeast Asian clients. The average spread on the platform's USD/MYR currency pair is a staggering 18 pips, compared to just 6-8 pips on other international platforms like Pepperstone. Worst of all, during the Malaysian stock market's opening hours (9:00-10:30 AM), spreads often suddenly widen to 25-30 pips, completely rendering my short-term trading strategies impossible to execute. My trading records show that I lost an additional 5,800 ringgit in March alone due to abnormal spreads. WELTRADE also charges Malaysian clients an additional "emerging market currency surcharge" of US$3 per lot traded, while spreads on platforms in Singapore and Australia during the same period are completely normal. This is systematic spread manipulation targeting Malaysian traders.

WELTRADE's withdrawal issues have driven me crazy! I requested a $15,000 withdrawal in June 2025, but by August I had only received $3,800. "International taxes" were deducted from the remaining amount, and they couldn't provide any tax documentation. Customer service has been saying "it will arrive next week" for 12 weeks now! Even worse is their "account upgrade" scam. They tricked me into paying $5,000 to upgrade to a "VIP account," promising lower spreads and priority withdrawals. The trading environment of the platform is very unstable. I applied to deposit money on July 23, and the Exchange notified me via email that I had to pay income tax before July 29. They sent another letter informing me that I had to pay the full amount within 48 hours, otherwise they would sue me and report tax evasion. Before paying the tax on July 28, I repeatedly confirmed whether I could withdraw the money after paying the full amount. The customer service team assured me that withdrawals would be possible. After receiving confirmation from customer service, they told me to wait 1-3 days to receive the receipt. On August 1, the Exchange sent me a letter stating that I had not paid 13,000 U and had to settle it myself, so the 13,000 U was frozen. This is robbery. They didn’t explain from the beginning that it had to be the same account. Moreover, when I took a screenshot and sent it to customer service, they should have verified the ID and confirmed there was no issue. I truly cannot accept WELTRADE. The slippage algorithm is manipulated to achieve a zero negative slippage rate. However, an analysis of 1,237 trades revealed clear manipulation of WELTRADE's slippage distribution: positive slippage occurred at 0%, while negative slippage was as high as 23.7%! Specifically, 92% of stop-loss orders experienced additional slippage (average -2.8 pips). In contrast, take-profit order slippage was incredibly precise: 97% of orders were executed at or within 0.5 pips of the take-profit level. My stop-loss on a long EUR/USD order at 1.2050 was actually closed at 1.2032 (18 pips of slippage), while similar orders on other platforms experienced a maximum slippage of no more than 8 pips. I want to share a review from my personal experience with them over the past 6 months. Their dashboard is excellent, and the copy trading system is quite good as well. But what's truly the best is the BTCUSD spread—it's amazing! Ranging from 850 to 2500. The only other broker with a good BTCUSD spread is ICM, at 1500 to 2500. I've withdrawn money several times, and it took 15-20 minutes—fully automated, even at 3 AM.
