From my own assessment of OSL, I found no indication that the broker provides an Islamic (swap-free) account option. In my forex trading experience, the presence of an Islamic account is important for traders who need to adhere to Sharia-compliant investing, so this omission is notable. Reviewing OSL’s offerings, it appears their services focus exclusively on equity brokerage within Pakistan, without any forex trading products or alternative account types tailored for specific religious or ethical requirements. More critically for me, OSL operates entirely without regulatory oversight, which is a significant risk factor. Not only does this raise concerns about investor protection, but it also means there’s no official assurance that they comply with international standards—something especially important when it comes to specialized accounts like Islamic ones. Another issue I noticed was the lack of a demo account, which I normally consider essential for evaluating a broker’s platform and terms safely. Based on my criteria and the information available, I do not see support for Islamic accounts at OSL. For traders whose religious beliefs necessitate swap-free trading, I would recommend extreme caution and suggest seeking out brokers with transparent regulations, recognized account structures, and explicit support for Islamic accounts.
