In my experience evaluating brokers, transparency around fees—especially concerning deposits and withdrawals—is essential for trust. With AXA, I found certain aspects of their withdrawal process particularly unclear. Based on recent user reports, some clients have encountered a supposed 25% personal income tax requirement when attempting to withdraw funds. For me, this raised immediate red flags, as such charges are not standard practice at most regulated brokers and there should be clear communication and documentation regarding any tax or fee deductions during withdrawals. The lack of explicit information on AXA's public materials about deposit or withdrawal fees, combined with concerns from users who struggled to access their funds or were met with unexpected taxation disclosures, makes me cautious. When a broker is fully regulated—as AXA is under Hong Kong’s SFC—I would expect consistent, detailed, and proactive fee disclosures. However, the experiences some users reported suggest that AXA could improve its transparency regarding withdrawals. Until I saw clearer, independently verified documentation and had consistent communication about charges, I would approach funding and withdrawals with AXA cautiously, prioritizing small test transactions and direct clarification from their customer service before committing significant capital. This conservative approach is, in my opinion, the safest path when fee transparency appears questionable.
