Based on my hands-on evaluation and careful review of SAMCO as a trading provider, I need to highlight that automated trading with Expert Advisors (EAs), such as those commonly used on MetaTrader 4 or 5, is not supported by the SAMCO platforms. SAMCO’s trading environment is centered around its proprietary tools: SAMCO Trader (for Windows), SAMCO Web 5 (browser-based), and the SAMCO mobile application. These platforms focus more on direct order placement, portfolio tracking, margin and brokerage calculators, and a suite of analytical tools, but they do not mention or provide integration for third-party automated trading systems or EA scripting engines. For me, as someone who occasionally relies on algorithmic trading for certain strategies, this is a notable limitation. Automation and algorithmic trading can contribute to discipline and efficiency by removing emotional factors from trade execution. The absence of EA support at SAMCO means I am restricted to manual trading and self-management using the provided tools. This might suit those who prefer a more hands-on approach and direct control, but I cannot recommend SAMCO to traders seriously dependent on automated systems or looking to deploy their own scripts. Given that SAMCO is not offering this capability, I personally exercise caution and look to regulated brokers with proven EA compatibility whenever my strategy demands automation.
