Reflecting on my assessment of IFIC Bank as a broker, the most prominent advantage appears to be its diverse range of deposit and income-generating products. For someone based in Bangladesh or interested in savings-focused schemes, the bank offers multiple accounts and competitive deposit rates—especially for fixed deposits and monthly income schemes. Additionally, their digital banking app makes account management and access relatively convenient on both Android and iOS devices. However, as a forex trader, I have serious reservations due to IFIC Bank’s complete lack of regulatory oversight. According to my experience, regulation is foundational to trust and client protection in trading. An unregulated broker poses significantly heightened risks regarding the safety of client funds, transparency, and recourse in case of disputes. I noticed that the WikiFX risk and regulatory scores are both extremely low, signaling a high risk that I cannot ignore. There’s also troubling user feedback about platform freezes and unsatisfactory customer support—both of which can severely impact the security and execution of trades. Weighing these factors, for me, the absence of regulation and recurring platform issues outweigh any product or convenience benefits. I would advise extreme caution, as with any financial interaction that touches on Your Money or Your Life, the emphasis must always be on safety and regulatory protection first.
