Given these ambiguities and NatWest Markets’ high risk classification due to their unregulated status, I personally would not assume there are no inactivity fees. In these scenarios, I find it is safest to seek explicit confirmation directly from the broker before opening any account, as unregulated firms are sometimes less transparent about hidden costs. For me, if I cannot get full clarity on potential inactivity fees and their terms, that is usually a strong signal to proceed with extra caution—or to reconsider my options.
