After reviewing their account types and service structure, what stands out most for me is the absence of information on platforms commonly associated with spot forex and CFD trading, as well as no demo account or fee schedule referencing trades in these markets. Moreover, CMCU’s regulatory situation raises further caution for me: though they previously held an ASIC investment advisory license, this license has been exceeded, which increases regulatory risk significantly in my judgment. Their account options—focusing on transactional and savings solutions—reiterate for me that their core business appears to be retail banking and basic investment facilitation rather than active forex or commodity trading. In summary, based on my research, I see no indication that CMCU offers direct trading in Gold (XAU/USD), Crude Oil, or similar instruments. For my own trading, the lack of specific asset offerings and the regulatory uncertainties mean I would be extremely cautious and would not assume such products can be accessed through CMCU. I believe selecting a broker with clear, verifiable access to these assets and a robust regulatory profile is critical for anyone with these trading objectives.
