Based on my research and personal experience with various brokers, the ability to use Expert Advisors (EAs) is a crucial factor for anyone interested in automated trading. With CITIC Futures, the context clearly lists their supported platforms—such as Fast Issue (V2), Fast Issue (V3), Mandarin WH6, and several proprietary systems. However, there is no mention of MT4 or MT5, which are the most common platforms supporting EAs and algorithmic trading for retail clients. Most of the platforms offered by CITIC Futures seem to cater primarily to the Chinese futures market and may not natively support the scripting and automation environment familiar to most forex traders. For me, one of the first things I look for is explicit support for third-party algorithmic solutions. Since CITIC Futures’ platforms are proprietary and tailored toward futures and options products, I would approach the question of EA compatibility with caution. I have not found any concrete evidence that their platforms allow custom scripting or the integration of EAs as is standard in MT4/MT5 environments. Therefore, for traders who rely on automated strategies, CITIC Futures may not be the most suitable choice unless they are comfortable with the specific API or scripting capabilities (if any exist) on one of their proprietary systems. In summary, from my perspective as an automated strategy user, CITIC Futures does not appear to offer direct support for EAs in the way that MT4/MT5 brokers do. It is essential to verify with their support team for any updates or possibilities, but I would be conservative and not assume EA compatibility without explicit confirmation.
