From my own experience as a trader, I make it a priority to verify whether a broker is officially regulated before even considering them for investment. In Akatsuki’s case, I took the time to check their credentials, and it is clear that they are regulated by the Financial Services Agency (FSA) in Japan. For me, this is a significant factor, as the FSA is a well-known and reputable regulatory authority with a rigorous oversight framework. Regulation tends to signal that a firm must adhere to standards regarding fund security, operational transparency, and regular reporting. However, even with FSA regulation, I don’t immediately equate that with safety or risk-free trading. I always remain cautious, particularly since Akatsuki’s business scope is marked as “suspicious” in some contexts and their product lineup does not include forex trading or other common leveraged instruments. Moreover, the presence of a regulatory license should never be the only check—track record, transparency, and user experience remain crucial for me. In summary, yes, Akatsuki is overseen by the Japanese FSA, and for my own due diligence, this provides a foundational level of credibility, but I continue to evaluate all available information before making trading decisions.
