The SFC is a well-respected financial regulator known for its rigorous standards in investor protection and transparency. This oversight is important because it provides a level of safeguard for client interests in futures trading. However, I noticed that the licenses for their securities and asset management arms—Fulbright Securities Limited and Fulbright Asset Management Limited—have expired, so those are not currently under regulatory supervision. This detail is crucial for me, as I always want to be sure which portions of a group's services actually benefit from regulatory oversight and which do not. As someone who relies heavily on regulatory clarity, I find it necessary to proceed with caution and ensure that I am transacting specifically within the regulated futures business, as only this part is actively supervised by the SFC at the moment. This cautious approach is vital whenever a broker’s regulatory coverage is partial or evolving.
