PrimeXBT is regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) in South Africa and the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) in Saint Lucia. The FSCA regulation is noted as “Exceeded,” which implies that the broker was once compliant but may no longer meet current standards. As someone who values strong regulatory oversight, I find the “Exceeded” status concerning, as it suggests that PrimeXBT may not be fully aligned with the latest regulatory standards. The FSRA’s offshore regulation adds another layer of caution, as offshore-regulated brokers typically don’t offer the same level of investor protection as brokers regulated by stricter authorities like the FCA or ASIC. In my PrimeXBT review, I would highlight the importance of regulatory safety, and while PrimeXBT is a legitimate broker under these regulations, the offshore status and “Exceeded” FSCA classification make me think twice about trading large sums with them. The safety of funds is always my primary concern when choosing a broker.
