Yes, I do see one con regarding Purple Trading's regulation by CYSEC. The main limitation is that Purple Trading is only available to clients within the European Economic Area (EEA) and does not accept clients from countries like the USA, Switzerland, or Belgium. As someone who occasionally travels or works with international clients, I find this restriction limiting. It could be a dealbreaker for traders outside of Europe, who might be looking for a regulated broker like Purple Trading. Another issue that could be considered a con is the level of regulatory oversight. While CYSEC is a respected regulator, it doesn’t offer the same level of protection as some other top-tier financial authorities such as the UK's FCA or the US SEC. For me, as a European resident, this isn’t an issue, but international traders might prefer a broker regulated by these stronger authorities for added peace of mind.
