Vatee being regulated by ASIC offers a reasonable level of safety. ASIC’s reputation for protecting traders and ensuring that brokers adhere to strict financial standards makes me feel more comfortable using them. However, the offshore VFSC regulation doesn't carry the same weight. The combination of both regulations gives me mixed feelings—ASIC adds credibility, but I remain cautious due to the VFSC’s relatively weak protection for clients. I’d still consider using Vatee, but I’d limit my exposure to riskier trades.
