Based on my research and hands-on experience as a trader, I must clarify that Dhan does not operate as a conventional forex broker and, according to all available information, does not support forex trading or disclose any details about overnight swap fees. Unlike established forex brokers that allow direct currency pair trading and transparently display swap rates, Dhan focuses on equities, options, commodities, and other Indian market instruments, without any mention of forex or CFDs in its lineup. This absence of overnight swap fee information is significant for me as a trader. Swap fees—sometimes called rollover rates—are a critical cost consideration when holding spot forex positions overnight. With Dhan, these costs are simply not relevant because the broker doesn’t offer a forex product. I also could not find swap-related disclosures for any futures or options positions, which further limits direct comparability with brokers where overnight financing is the norm. For traders who require transparent cost structures in forex, I remain cautious about platforms that lack regulatory oversight or omit key details, like Dhan. In my professional experience, the lack of swap fee information along with Dhan’s unregulated status would make me think twice before entrusting them with substantial capital, especially if overnight holdings or forex trading are part of my strategy.
