In my experience trading with Cathay Futures, there are certain points I believe traders should consider, especially regarding customer service and platform reliability. On the positive side, Cathay Futures operates under the regulation of the Taipei Exchange, which is a reassuring foundation of trust and compliance for me as someone who prioritizes safety and regulatory oversight. Their long-standing presence since 1993 and focus on major global futures markets has also provided me with a broad spectrum of trading opportunities. However, one drawback I noticed relates to customer service. The available contact channels seem somewhat limited to a phone line and an email. This can occasionally make swift problem resolution challenging, especially during fast-moving market conditions or if urgent support is required. In my opinion, a broader set of support options or more immediate response mechanisms would enhance user experience and offer better reassurance during stressful trading scenarios. As for platform reliability, I’ve found their systems to be stable for my needs, but it’s notable that they utilize primarily their own proprietary software and associated trading apps. While I haven't personally experienced major outages or execution issues, I am always cautious with platforms that don't have the universally recognized robustness of industry standards like MT4/5. Therefore, I approach trading with Cathay Futures prudently, staying alert to platform updates and always using risk controls. For me, these factors require careful consideration, especially for those prioritizing round-the-clock, multi-channel support and broad third-party platform compatibility.
