From my direct experience and after careful analysis, several concerns with Dhan stand out—particularly regarding customer support and platform reliability. The most critical issue for me is the absence of any formal regulatory oversight. When a broker isn’t regulated, as is the case with Dhan, I am naturally more cautious since there isn’t an external authority ensuring your rights as a trader are protected. This overarching issue impacts how I perceive all aspects of their service, including customer support. In terms of support, while Dhan does provide email and phone contact, I found the lack of live chat and limited international access to be a downside. Responsiveness felt uncertain at times, which could be problematic if urgent account issues arise. I also noted the lack of a demo account. As someone who prefers to thoroughly test a platform before committing real capital, this is a significant drawback—it means less opportunity to get familiar with their systems or test trading strategies under real conditions. Platform reliability is another point of caution. Dhan relies on self-developed apps and web platforms rather than established solutions like MT4/MT5. While their interfaces are user-friendly, trading on a proprietary, relatively new system lacks the proven stability and transparency I value. Additionally, with no available information about execution speeds or uptime statistics, it’s difficult to independently verify their performance. In summary, my experience leaves me unconvinced about Dhan’s long-term trustworthiness, especially without regulatory protection, comprehensive testing avenues, and transparent reliability metrics. I would personally approach this broker conservatively.
