SFC is a prominent regulatory authority that enforces strict compliance standards, which, in my view, significantly reduces the typical operational and custodial risks often associated with less established or loosely regulated firms. From my perspective, Pictet appears to cater more to institutional clients, high-net-worth individuals, and intermediaries rather than to the everyday retail forex trader. Nonetheless, I would proceed conservatively—asking for a thorough breakdown of fees and trading conditions before deciding on any sizeable commitment.
