As someone who has evaluated numerous brokers over the years, I approached Renaissance Capital with high expectations, given their CYSEC regulation and longstanding presence in Cyprus. However, when it comes to transparency around commission structures and spreads, my experience has been less than straightforward. Despite Renaissance Capital’s established status and the fact that they operate as a Market Maker, I found it remarkably difficult to locate concrete, detailed information regarding their fee schedules—whether for commissions or the specific spreads they apply on trades. This lack of clarity is a significant drawback for me. In my trading, understanding both the explicit commission charges and the embedded costs within the spreads is crucial for managing risk and evaluating trade profitability. The absence of publicized fee examples or a clear breakdown on their official materials means I am left uncertain about the true cost of trading with them. Moreover, the presence of high user-reported risks and exposure complaints points to operational and reputational concerns that, for me, heighten the importance of total transparency in pricing. Without explicit spread ranges or commission rates, I simply cannot make an informed cost comparison with other, more transparent brokers. Ultimately, while their regulatory status is a positive, the lack of open fee disclosure and the platform’s risk profile persuade me to exercise caution and seek out brokers offering clearer, verifiable pricing information.
