In my experience as a forex trader, I take regulatory status and clear operational transparency extremely seriously. With Hydro, the reality is that its main activities revolve around aluminum production and renewable energy services, not financial trading. While it is a long-established Norwegian company with a history dating back to 1905 and significant operations in its industry, I have strong reservations about viewing it as a forex broker. For me, credibility in financial trading comes first from strong regulatory oversight, which Hydro lacks entirely according to all available data. Even though Hydro is publicly listed and recognized for its core industrial business, these attributes do not translate into tangible benefits for someone seeking a reliable trading environment or forex exposure. From a trader’s perspective, if I tried to identify any benefits, perhaps Hydro’s extensive history suggests some degree of corporate stability and operational resilience, and its public listings on major European stock exchanges could indicate reputable business practices in its primary market. However, these aspects are specific to its energy and aluminum products and not relevant to brokerage services or forex trading. With crucial information like fee structures left unclear and absolutely no valid regulatory license, I personally find no compelling reason to recommend Hydro as a forex broker. For those of us in the trading community, risk management begins with choosing platforms that are transparent and properly regulated—standards Hydro does not meet.
