However, based on all available information, I have not encountered any mention or indication that assets like Gold (XAU/USD) or Crude Oil are available for trading through SBI FXTRADE. Their instrument list and educational materials consistently center on foreign exchange margin trading rather than commodities or precious metals. This limitation is vital for my own trading decisions, as I tend to diversify across asset classes for risk management. A broker’s offering is usually a reflection of their regulatory scope and technical infrastructure, and with SBI FXTRADE being strictly regulated in Japan as a retail forex broker, it appears they have chosen a clear specialization. While narrow spreads and the ability to trade around the clock are appealing, anyone looking for direct exposure to gold or oil derivatives would need to look at other platforms.
