In my experience as a forex trader, reliability and security are non-negotiables when selecting a broker. After closely reviewing what ALTAIR MARKETS offers, I have significant reservations about trusting them for my trading needs. Although they claim over 17 years in the industry and a client-focused commission structure—charging only on profits—these positives do not outweigh my concerns stemming from the absence of any regulatory oversight. A lack of regulation means that no recognized authority is monitoring their practices or safeguarding client funds. This dramatically increases my personal risk exposure, as there is no official recourse in the event of disputes or malpractices. While the use of advanced algorithms and an incentive-aligned fee model might sound promising, without transparency regarding trading platforms, instruments, or account types, I find it hard to independently verify these claims or understand the precise nature of the services I’d be using. Limited, weekday-only customer support and a notable lack of clear, detailed information further dampen my confidence, as transparency and access are crucial in situations where market conditions can change rapidly. For me, the potential risks due to the unregulated status and lack of detailed disclosures far outweigh any benefits. I would proceed with extreme caution and would much prefer to entrust my capital to a broker that is fully regulated with clear, verifiable operational information.
