While these products might be attractive for those looking for traditional banking or steady income solutions, they do not reflect the standard suite of trading instruments (currencies, indices, commodities) I typically expect or seek out. This difference is crucial: as a trader, my priority is access to broad, liquid, and regulated markets. Regarding fees, IFIC Bank offers clear interest rates and account conditions rather than the variable spreads or commissions seen in trading-focused platforms. For instance, the interest rates on their fixed deposit and monthly income schemes can be appealing by local banking standards, but these are not “fees” in the trading sense; they represent expected returns and are subject to taxes as outlined in their descriptions. For me, the absence of regulatory oversight and a lack of core trading instruments means IFIC Bank simply does not meet the minimum professional standards I look for in a trading partner. I always urge fellow traders to consider not just the apparent returns, but also the transparency, client protections, and breadth of actual tradeable markets before opening an account—areas where, in my judgment, IFIC Bank currently falls short.
