For me, regulation is only effective if it’s clear, current, and rigorously enforced—which here, feels questionable. What really matters to me are actual user experiences. Regular reports of withdrawal problems and being asked for unexpected “individual taxes” or fees prior to withdrawal are deeply unsettling.
