Based on my personal experience and a thorough review of Dhan’s current offerings, I found that Dhan provides a suite of proprietary trading platforms, including the Dhan App, Dhan web, the Options Trader App, Options Trader Web, Dhan in conjunction with TradingView, standalone TradingView, and DhanHQ. These platforms are self-developed and tailored for accessibility across devices, which contributed to user-friendly navigation for me as a trader. However, I must emphasize that Dhan does not support MetaTrader 4 (MT4), MetaTrader 5 (MT5), or cTrader, all of which are widely recognized industry-standard platforms especially valued for advanced charting, expert advisor compatibility, and algorithmic trading. For someone with a background in forex trading like myself, the absence of MT4 and MT5 is a significant consideration. These platforms often provide proven reliability, deep market access, and robust security, which many experienced traders—including myself—find critical. The lack of these third-party platforms not only restricts access to certain trading tools but may also limit integration with widely available research and automated trading systems. In my view, while Dhan’s proprietary platforms offer reasonable functionality for trading instruments such as stocks, options, and ETFs, the omission of MT4, MT5, and cTrader means it may not meet the needs of traders looking for globally recognized trading environments or those relying on advanced features for specialized strategies. For cautious and informed decision-making, I always recommend traders carefully consider such platform limitations before committing funds or strategies to a broker that does not offer industry-standard solutions.
