IMC provides its own proprietary platform designed for institutional trading. It does not offer widely-used platforms like MT4 or MT5, which are typically popular with retail traders. The IMC platform integrates advanced technology, including artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), to facilitate quantitative research and high-performance trading. From my perspective, the absence of MT4/MT5 can be a dealbreaker for retail traders who are familiar with those platforms. However, IMC trading on its proprietary platform offers sophisticated features and is ideal for institutional clients who need custom solutions for market-making and liquidity provision.
