From my perspective, LCM has one significant drawback: it is not a regulated broker. The absence of regulation is a dealbreaker for me because it means there's no oversight to ensure the protection of client funds or the platform's adherence to industry standards. Regulation gives me peace of mind, as it ensures that the broker is following the rules and that my funds are safe. Without it, there's an element of risk that makes me uncomfortable. I also read some reports of potential withdrawal issues, which makes me even more cautious. Furthermore, residents from several countries, including North Korea and the U.S., are excluded from using the platform. Although LCM offers competitive spreads, multiple account types, and good trading tools through the LCM forex broker platform, the lack of regulation and potential withdrawal issues make me hesitate. For traders like myself who prioritize security and transparency, these issues are too significant to ignore. If I were to trade with LCM, I would ensure I was only trading small amounts, understanding the risks involved.
