From my personal experience trading and interacting with various brokers, Rakuten Bank presents several notable concerns that have directly impacted my ability to trade with confidence. The most significant drawback for me is the lack of effective customer support. While Rakuten Bank is a well-established digital bank with a long operational history in Japan, the fact that their customer service channels mainly support Japanese and the overall lack of responsive support made it challenging for me to resolve account or platform issues in a timely manner. This can be especially problematic in the fast-paced forex environment, where delays or misunderstandings create unnecessary risk. Additionally, the absence of regulation by authoritative financial bodies poses a serious reliability concern. Although Rakuten Bank does offer a variety of services and maintains a robust banking infrastructure, these factors do not offset the risks introduced by lacking regulation and insufficient support. Given my priority for security and transparency, these drawbacks make me reluctant to rely on Rakuten Bank for my trading needs. Approaching this broker requires a careful and conservative strategy, especially for anyone trading from outside Japan or needing English support.
