Based on my close look at DH's offering, I found that they publish spreads for their products, but there’s no clear indication whether these are fixed or variable. For major forex pairs, such as EUR/USD, the spread is quoted at 2 pips, with other pairs ranging from 2 to 6 pips. In my experience, brokers that simply list a single spread value often offer fixed spreads, but this is not a guarantee, especially in the absence of direct platform information. Given DH’s lack of regulation and limited details about their trading technology, I am particularly cautious. Without regulatory oversight, brokers can change their spread policies or execution conditions with minimal notice, and with no official assurance about how spreads are managed during events like high volatility or news releases, the risk increases. Historically, fixed spreads may still widen in extreme conditions if the broker deems it necessary, and I've seen unregulated firms alter trading conditions abruptly during news events. For a broker like DH—especially given its high-risk profile and the opacity around platform details—I would not assume spreads will remain stable during turbulent markets. If transparent spread behavior during volatility is important to your trading—like it is for me—I would consider this uncertainty a significant drawback.
