From my personal experience and thorough due diligence, I have serious reservations about MIB as a broker. While MIB has been operating for over 20 years and offers a broad range of products including Hong Kong and global securities, I found that its regulatory status is problematic. The broker’s SFC license for dealing in futures contracts has been revoked, and WikiFX clearly flags their regulatory license as suspicious with clear indications of a high potential risk. For me, this immediately raised concerns about the firm’s overall reliability and the safety of client funds, since ongoing and solid regulation is a bedrock of trust in this industry. On the customer service side, experiences are mixed. The service desk responded promptly during business hours, but some critical aspects—like the fee structure and platform usability—left much to be desired. The trading platform itself struck me as outdated and less user-friendly compared to what I expect from modern brokers. This made order execution and account management feel unnecessarily cumbersome, which is far from ideal when trading volatile markets where speed and clarity are essential. Additionally, I had trouble finding transparent details on fees, and in my view, any broker that is not fully upfront about costs is a red flag. Even though customer support was generally courteous, unresolved issues about the platform’s limitations and unclear costs prevented me from trading comfortably. Given these factors, I would advise a very cautious approach and rigorous risk assessment before considering MIB for any serious trading activities.
