From my experience and review of AI GOLD’s trading conditions, the fee structure is a bit different compared to the typical commission-per-lot model seen with many international ECN or raw spread accounts. With AI GOLD, instead of a commission charged per lot, there is a fixed transaction fee applied to each trade, and this varies depending on the method used to place the order. Specifically, for internet transactions, the fee is JPY 220 per ticket, while telephone trades incur a higher fee of JPY 1,100 per ticket. If a computer issue forces you to place an order by phone, the fee is JPY 440. These charges are per order, not per lot, which is important to note as it affects cost calculation for different trading styles and volumes. This approach stands out from global brokers offering ECN or raw spread accounts, where commissions and spreads are usually separated and often charged per lot traded. For me, this means carefully factoring in the number and size of trades, especially with smaller position sizing, since the fee structure could impact overall trading costs. I also found that there is no additional settlement fee for daily trading, which slightly offsets the per-order fee. In conclusion, AI GOLD does not charge a typical per-lot commission for ECN or raw spread accounts, but employs a fixed per-ticket transaction model that I would recommend assessing in detail before committing to frequent or high-volume trading.
