Through my experience with Taiwan Cooperative Securities (TCS), I’ve found a blend of qualities that are important to weigh carefully before trusting them for significant trading activity. TCS is a regulated broker operating out of Taiwan under the supervision of the Taipei Exchange, and this regulatory status provides some reassurance regarding its business practices. However, there are areas where, as a trader, I proceed with extra caution. Notably, TCS has yet to disclose its license number, which in my view is a transparency issue that regulatory-minded traders should not ignore. In terms of customer service, my interactions have been somewhat limited due to their restricted contact channels. I primarily relied on phone communication, finding it functional but lacking in responsiveness and flexibility. There doesn’t seem to be a robust, multi-channel support system in place, which can be limiting if urgent assistance is needed or if you require support outside of standard hours. As for platform stability, TCS highlights its proprietary APP trading systems but does not provide detailed public information about the trading platform’s technology, reliability, or downtime statistics. In my own use, while I haven’t experienced severe outages, the overall lack of transparent platform specifications makes it difficult for me to confidently recommend their technology for high-frequency or large-volume trading. Ultimately, while I see value in TCS’s regulatory standing and product offerings, the limited transparency—especially concerning customer support and platform details—leads me to use this broker conservatively and to avoid relying solely on them for critical trades.
