The entity listed is Consilium Capital SA (Pty) Ltd, which claims to hold a retail forex license under license number 5654. However, while the broker states it is regulated, my experience compels me to dig deeper whenever I see warning indicators. WikiFX flagged Consilium with terms like "suspicious regulatory license" and "suspicious scope of business," and assigned it a notably low regulatory index. Additionally, there are reports that a physical office could not be found during a site visit in South Africa. For me, genuine oversight means clean, verifiable licensing and clear public records, which seems lacking here. As someone who prioritizes transparency and safety, I’m cautious about any broker with lingering doubts about their regulatory status. While the FSCA is South Africa’s primary financial regulator, simply claiming FSCA regulation is not always enough—especially if third-party checks highlight gaps or inconsistencies. Given the high potential risk warnings and unclear business details, I personally would not assume Consilium is under robust regulatory scrutiny. For my trading activities, clear and transparent verification is essential before proceeding with any funds or sensitive information.
