In my experience with CMB, all deposit and withdrawal processes are outlined with a reasonable level of transparency. CMB provides clear instructions for funding and withdrawing via bank counter visits, internet transfers, and dedicated bank-securities transfer services. Importantly, I have not encountered any indication or evidence of hidden fees specifically tied to deposit or withdrawal actions. The broker's system requires you to notify them of transfers through proper procedures—such as uploading deposit slips, using their online portal, or even contacting support. This multi-step approach may be inconvenient for some, but it actually increases traceability and reduces the likelihood of surprise charges. For withdrawals, they accept instructions via mail, fax, email, or directly within the online platform. Based on the fee schedules and the guidance I’ve reviewed, the costs associated with executing a withdrawal or deposit are not disguised or hidden within the process itself. However, as someone who values financial safety, I do caution traders to review the official fee details and always confirm with customer support before making large transfers. The Hong Kong SFC regulation adds some confidence, but, as with any broker, unexpected issues could arise—especially if procedures aren’t followed exactly. I did see some user complaints about withdrawal difficulties, but these seemed more related to operational or verification delays, not undisclosed charges hidden in fund movements. For me, CMB did not present any surprise fees regarding deposits or withdrawals, as long as I followed their procedures carefully.
