However, when it comes to Linear, I could not find a transparent, specific figure for the typical spread on EUR/USD for their standard account in the available details. In the forex industry, reputable brokers usually display this information upfront since many traders use it to assess competitiveness and suitability for their strategies. What makes me especially cautious is that Linear operates under FCA regulation as an STP broker, yet WikiFX highlights a risk—Linear has a warning for a "suspicious scope of business," and there was a “finding no office” event in the UK, despite their official registration. While they are regulated and have some history (operating 10-15 years), such risk alerts and lack of transparent basic trading conditions make it difficult for me to rely on them without further verification. In my own practice, I prefer to avoid opening live accounts with any broker that does not clearly disclose critical information like typical spreads, as this transparency is fundamental for both trust and effective risk management. For anyone considering Linear, I would suggest directly reaching out to their customer support before making any deposit to ask for detailed EUR/USD spread figures and to carefully weigh these gaps in transparency.
