Based on my own research and experience reviewing Ichiyoshi Securities, I am unable to trade individual assets like Gold (XAU/USD) or Crude Oil with this broker. Although Ichiyoshi Securities is a long-established, FSA-regulated Japanese firm and holds a retail forex license, their business model and product suite are quite traditional and conservative. The company places a particular emphasis on less complex and lower-risk investment options, as evidenced by their adherence to the “Seven Ichiyoshi Standards.” This set of principles leads them to avoid offering speculative or intricate products such as futures, options, foreign exchange margin trades, and notably, foreign equities or commodities like gold and oil. For me as a trader seeking exposure to commodities or precious metals, this means Ichiyoshi Securities is not designed to accommodate those interests. Instead, they focus on more straightforward securities products targeted towards long-term investors and those who prefer safer, easier-to-understand instruments. This approach underscores their goal of prioritizing client protection and regulatory compliance. Therefore, while I respect their stability and oversight, those wanting to trade XAU/USD or Crude Oil will need to look elsewhere, as Ichiyoshi Securities does not make these assets available through their platforms.
