From my detailed review of their official information, ETC’s services are focused exclusively on the electricity market, with their main offerings revolving around cross-border power trading, power derivatives, options related to energy, and supporting financial solutions for the energy sector. Critically, ETC is not regulated by any recognized financial authority, and WikiFX specifically flags the firm as having no valid regulatory status, carrying a high potential risk and even a “suspicious scope of business.” Furthermore, I was unable to locate any disclosure of typical trading costs, fee structures, spreads, or commissions for traditional financial instruments such as forex, commodities, indices, or equities on ETC’s platform—largely because such products simply aren’t available through this broker. In my judgment, and for anyone who is accustomed to trading standard indices, the lack of regulation, transparency, and product range on ETC means it isn’t a suitable venue for trading products like the US100.
