From my personal experience and analysis, INVAST offers a rather limited selection of trading instruments compared to many global brokers. The primary assets available are forex pairs and ETFs. There is no access to commodities, indices, stocks, cryptocurrencies, options, bonds, or other asset classes. This means that if your strategy relies on diversification across various markets, INVAST might not meet your needs. The concentration on forex and ETFs reflects their focus on the Japanese retail market, particularly through the proprietary Click 365 trading platform. For me, this narrow range was constraining, as I typically look to hedge or explore opportunities in alternative markets like indices or commodities during periods of low forex volatility. That said, the limited instrument list does bring some differentiation, as it allows the broker to streamline its product suite and apply strict risk controls, which is especially relevant given the Financial Services Agency (FSA) regulation in Japan. However, the lack of access to other asset classes can hinder portfolio flexibility. For anyone considering INVAST, it's essential to weigh this restriction against your trading goals. If your focus is purely on forex and ETFs, you might find the offering adequate, but traders seeking broader exposure should proceed with caution.
