Interactive Brokers (IB) offers a wide variety of platforms that cater to different types of traders, which I find very convenient. For mobile trading, I use IBKR GlobalTrader, which is user-friendly and allows me to trade from anywhere. For more advanced traders like myself, I prefer Trader Workstation (TWS), a powerful desktop platform that provides real-time data, advanced charting tools, and comprehensive research. IB also offers APIs for those who want to automate their trading strategies, which is a feature I’ve found particularly useful for my more complex trades. The platform options are highly customizable, which makes IB a great choice for traders at all experience levels. However, the complexity of TWS might be overwhelming for beginners, so it’s essential to choose the platform that fits my trading style and experience.
