The spread on HFX is relatively competitive, starting from 1.7 pips for most account types, which I find reasonable. However, if I were an active trader, I’d want to choose the Premium account, as it offers spreads starting from 0 pips, which would reduce my trading costs. Tight spreads are particularly important for traders like me who are looking to trade frequently or using strategies like scalping. The ability to access tight spreads with HFX brokers with low minimum deposit options is an attractive feature, especially if I want to keep my costs low. While the Mini account might offer wider spreads, it also requires a low deposit to get started, which is an advantage for traders with limited capital. I always consider the spread and its impact on profitability, especially in volatile markets.
