This regulation provides a degree of legitimacy, but it's important to note that it is an offshore regulatory body. In my experience, while offshore regulation offers some level of oversight, it doesn’t provide the same investor protection as regulations from top-tier authorities like the FCA or ASIC. Personally, I would be cautious with brokers regulated offshore, as they typically offer less security and fewer guarantees for traders' funds. Although the FSC regulation adds credibility to Xtreme Markets, I would still need to ensure that this regulation aligns with my trading preferences and risk tolerance before opening a live account.
