Is this even possible? The slippage for gold orders was reduced by 0.45 pips when using the official VPS, but there was no mention of this optimization in the service description. Everything was fine.

If you are using a VPS independently, we recommend setting your VPS node to the London region to reduce network latency caused by physical distance and improve trading execution speed and stability.
