I always weigh this heavily when choosing a broker, as regulated brokers provide a level of investor protection that unregulated ones can’t. Another downside for me is the absence of a demo account. Additionally, their fee structure isn’t entirely transparent, and they have regional restrictions, which limits access to certain countries.
