This broker seems great at first, but I have one major complaint. I'm unable to withdraw the full amount of money I want from my account. The deposit bonus offered by this company is a complete rip-off. The spreads are so wide that the bonus money gets eaten up almost instantly. To make things worse, they can remove the bonus from your account without warning, even in the middle of a trade. This is exactly what happened to me; my account was blown up, and my balance went from $230 to $38 in a second. When I contacted customer service to find out why, they were deceptive and unhelpful.

When I lost money while trading with Headway, my account went into a negative balance. Headway advertises negative balance protection, so I was expecting my balance to be reset to zero, as is standard practice in the industry. Instead, they let me deposit more money, and then they used those new funds to cover my old negative balance. The way they handled this felt dishonest and misleading.

Headway's slippage always goes in the direction of losses, with an average slippage of 12 pips on profitable trades and never more than 2 pips on losing trades. If this isn't intentional, what is? Malaysian traders have exposed Headway's spread fraud. The platform uses unusual spreads on Southeast Asian currency pairs: the average spread on USD/MYR is 12 pips, and on EUR/MYR it's as high as 15 pips, which is 3-5 times the normal market spread. Even more outrageous is that during Malaysian public holidays, spreads can widen to 20-25 pips, clearly exploiting insufficient liquidity for malicious pricing. Headway should not be in Malaysia. Never trust this broker. If you have any funds, withdraw them immediately and stay away from them.

I set my stop-loss for USD/TH at 36.20, which is the breakeven point I calculated. If the price goes higher than this, I would lose a whole day's worth of overnight market income! Then the system froze for two seconds, and suddenly the price jumped to 36.55—a slippage of 35 pips, meaning I lost 7,000 THB! I was using a True Move 5G dedicated line and logged into 'SCB Forex,' where slippage was only 3 pips. So why is Headway being blamed as a 'network issue'? I know a bit about Forex trading, but I've never seen slippage this bad before. Over the past 20 days, I traded USD/TH 18 times, and 14 of those had slippage exceeding 20 pips, totaling 23,000 THB in losses. Stay away from Headway—this deceptive platform has hit me hard.

Headway's scams are worse than those in the night market. They advertise 'no withdrawal fees,' but last month, I withdrew 500,000 THB and only had 465,000 THB left in my account after a 7% 'currency conversion fee'! Customer service claimed 'the bank charges it,' but when I checked with Kasikorn Bank, they didn't impose any such fee. Clearly, Headway pocketed the fee themselves. The standard USD/THB spread in their account is usually 10 pips, but it spikes to 35 pips whenever the Bank of Thailand releases data. Last month, when I placed an AUD/THB trade, the spread showed 8, but after execution, it jumped to 22, costing me an extra 28,000 THB. I tracked 30 trades and found Headway's average spread was six times higher than Thailand's 'SCB Forex' platform, forcing me to pay an additional 93,000 THB in spreads. I tried withdrawing my remaining 300,000 THB, but they said I 'must trade 100 lots first'—meaning I’ll lose even more money! Thai people, don’t fall for this.

I urge everyone to avoid Headway. It's a scam disguised as a forex trading platform. I first encountered Headway at a forex investment sharing session in Malaysia. The instructor boasted about "monthly returns of 15%-30%." However, I was deeply saddened by Headway's deceptive practices. Their "no-deposit bonus" required a 30-lot trade before withdrawal, but the spread was three times the normal amount. I ended up losing 3,200 Australian dollars to withdraw my $500 bonus, and was also charged an 800 Australian dollar "account management fee." The platform's leverage adjustment is completely arbitrary: 1:100 during the day, then suddenly dropped to 1:10 at night, resulting in forced liquidation of three of my overnight trades. I replied that I had the bonus contract in PDF format and that it wasn't mentioned anywhere.
