Based on my thorough review of available details, I’ve learned that BGC primarily positions itself as a broker for institutional and professional clients, offering brokerage access to a range of financial products. Their public information lists commodities among the tradable asset classes, which typically encompasses individual products like Gold (XAU/USD) and Crude Oil. However, the lack of a precise product breakdown, combined with the absence of clear information on platforms, minimum deposits, leverage, or fees, leaves real uncertainty about whether retail traders—like myself—can reliably access and directly trade spot Gold or Crude Oil contracts through BGC. My cautious approach is driven by the fact that recent reports have surfaced of individuals being invited to platforms using BGC’s name, some of which have resulted in significant withdrawal issues or possible fraudulent activity. There also appears to be ambiguity about BGC's physical presence and whether its official offerings extend to non-institutional clients. In practice, even though commodities are theoretically listed in their range, I personally would not proceed without direct, authenticated confirmation from BGC regarding account eligibility, trading conditions, and the specific inclusion of Gold and Oil in their product suite. For me, reliable access and withdrawal transparency are critical, and currently, these aspects are not fully assured.
