Drawing from my hands-on research and time spent evaluating nabtrade, I found that the platform focuses primarily on a range of traditional investment products rather than the full spectrum of speculative trading instruments. Through nabtrade, I have been able to access domestic and international shares, which covers both ASX-listed and global equities. Additionally, the platform offers access to exchange-traded funds, bonds, managed investments, and cash products. There’s also a margin loan facility that allows leverage across various eligible securities, and a high-interest cash account for settlement and earning purposes. One key observation is that nabtrade does not provide direct forex trading, indices, commodities, or any form of cryptocurrency trading. The available products cater much more to investors seeking exposure to share markets and managed funds rather than short-term traders looking for CFDs or derivatives tied to commodities or currencies. While this narrower product set aligns with nabtrade’s positioning as an investment platform, rather than as a speculative trading broker, it’s important for anyone considering nabtrade to ensure that their desired instruments—especially forex and crypto—are supported elsewhere. For me, this lack of diversification into forex and crypto is a significant factor to weigh when assessing whether nabtrade meets my personal trading and portfolio needs. Given the platform’s unregulated status, I am additionally cautious and would recommend serious consideration before committing substantial funds.
