Drawing from my own experience as an independent trader who scrutinizes broker reliability as a non-negotiable, I take reports of customer service and platform issues very seriously, especially when substantial funds are involved. With M&G, several aspects raise significant concerns for me. First, although they present themselves as regulated in the United Kingdom, their FCA license status is flagged as “exceeded,” which signals potential regulatory oversights or non-compliance—something I regard as a fundamental risk. On the customer service front, I’ve observed worrying accounts of delayed and even unfulfilled withdrawal requests. The pattern of users submitting withdrawal requests—sometimes significant sums—only to face prolonged reviews, lack of communication, and, in some cases, disappearing funds, is deeply unsettling. For my own capital preservation, I prioritize brokers with consistent, transparent withdrawal processes and proactive support, none of which seem reliably present here based on these exposures. Additionally, the anecdotal reports of changing account conditions and requests for extraneous fees further erode trust. As a trader, I require systems where my account access, trade execution, and withdrawals aren’t subject to arbitrary obstacles or sudden policy changes. Given these red flags, I would proceed with utmost caution and, based on my standards for trustworthiness and operational integrity, avoid committing significant resources to M&G until these critical reliability issues are adequately addressed.
