In my research and experience with Cathay Futures as a trader, I have not found any evidence that they offer a swap-free or specifically Islamic account option. The available information from the broker focuses on providing futures and leveraged FX trading across a wide range of global exchanges and highlights regulatory oversight by the Taipei Exchange in Taiwan. While this regulated status adds some confidence for me regarding operational legitimacy and risk management, I noticed that specific account types—including swap-free or Sharia-compliant options—are not addressed at all in their public materials. For traders like myself who require an Islamic or swap-free account due to religious reasons, this lack of transparency is a significant concern. Since other brokers frequently state clearly on their platforms whether they offer swap-free accounts, the absence of such detail with Cathay Futures leads me to believe they likely do not provide this service. I am always particularly cautious when a broker does not disclose fee structures or special account types, as it leaves room for misunderstandings or unmet needs later on. Ultimately, if swap-free trading is a necessity, based on my review, I would need to pursue additional direct confirmation from Cathay Futures' customer service. But as things stand, their offering appears to cater mainly to standard futures and margin trading, without accommodating the requirements of swap-free or Islamic trading accounts.
