As an experienced trader, I explored Mashreq’s offerings in detail and found that the selection of actual trading instruments is quite different from what many specialized forex or multi-asset brokers provide. From my review, Mashreq focuses predominantly on investment products such as equities, structured investments, and mutual funds—especially via their accounts and platforms like Mashreq Mobile App and Mashreq Web. They do provide access to global equities across various major exchanges; for example, it’s possible to trade shares on the US, UK, European, and Asian stock markets. The commission structure is outlined per exchange, with minimums by region, and these are important to weigh against your trade frequency and size. However, I need to stress there is no clear or direct mention of forex, indices, commodities, or cryptocurrencies being tradable through Mashreq. This is a significant consideration if your focus is on currency pairs, CFDs, or popular alternative assets like crypto. While Mashreq does offer multi-currency accounts and various deposit products, these do not equate to spot or leveraged forex trading facilities one might expect from brokers dedicated to those instruments. Therefore, for me, Mashreq seems suited for investors seeking cross-border equity market access and traditional banking products, not for those looking for a broad suite of trading instruments including forex or digital assets. Always ensure you understand what asset classes are genuinely accessible—and double-check if your strategy requires active trading in instruments Mashreq does not currently support.
