In my experience as an independent forex trader, I’ve found that assessing whether a broker supports trading specific assets like Gold (XAU/USD) or Crude Oil hinges on clear platform transparency and regulatory clarity. Regarding FX Connect, after combing through all available details, I couldn’t find convincing evidence that these particular instruments are available to trade. The broker is unregulated, which immediately raises red flags for me about asset security and overall reliability. While FX Connect mentions services like execution flexibility and settlement solutions, there’s no mention of an asset list, product specifications, or even detailed trading conditions. Their use of a proprietary platform (TradeNeXusSM) rather than a widespread trading application like MT4 also makes it harder for me to verify what instruments might be available. For me, the lack of any regulatory oversight further increases the risk, as there’s no external authority ensuring asset transparency or protecting client interests. Because I cannot verify the availability of Gold or Crude Oil trading on FX Connect, I would strongly advise caution. Personally, I would never deposit or attempt to trade with any broker that doesn’t offer clear information about tradable assets—especially when the broker is unregulated and lacks a history of credible, third-party reviews or disclosures. Therefore, I cannot recommend FX Connect for anyone looking specifically to trade Gold (XAU/USD) or Crude Oil.
